We have been undertaking research into aspects of the labour market and low pay for the last 20 years.

We produce Jobwatch which is a unique survey of job vacancies in Greater Manchester jobcentres. The survey details rates of pay and makes comparisons of labour market trends since 1989. It is an invaluable resource for agencies and individuals with an interest in economic development and the changing patterns of employment in Greater Manchester.

Jobwatch 2006 was published in January 2007 and the briefing paper is available now. The full report is too large a document to put on the website but you can request a copy from us using the Contact Us page.
